Double Vision: Tia & Tamera Cover Essence’s April 2013 Issue

Sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry are moms in charge, and the two grace the cover of Essence’s April 2013 issue. They have been enjoying motherhood and marriage, and recently added entrepreneur to their resume; launching a product line for mothers and babies called Mama Need.

Inside the “Double Vision” feature, the ladies talk balancing family with their careers, being moms, and reality TV. Tia says they didn’t want to do a reality show if they couldn’t be themselves; “We didn’t want to do a reality show if we couldn’t be real—if I couldn’t be myself. There is no ‘evil twin’ syndrome, though we do have evil moments…”

INSIDE Trey Songz's $35K A Month Mansion

Trey Songz is moving on up.....to the Hollywoods Hills.  As of April 1, the R&B star will move into a 13,000 sq. ft. mansion right next door to Ne-Yo, for the small sum of $35,000 a month.  And TMZ provided the luxe pics:

The ten bedroom home boasts 12-bath bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, a movie theater, gym and of course....an elevator.

There are also tons of balconies, views of the city and a rooftop pool.

In case any of the rooms look familiar, it's worthy to note that this is the type of home that is usually rented out for reality tv shows.

While Trey isn't on a reality show, the home will surely provide enough space for friends, familly and groupies to have a good time.

Beyonce is spotted posing inside of a UPS truck, Bey posted this photo on her social networking page today.  I know she’s  gearing up for her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour,” which kicks off in Belgrade, Serbia, on April 15.

Rihanna & Her BFF, Melissa, Laugh At Ciara & Ciara Has No Time For That! 

Ciara has a song titled "Body Party". Which some people like but Rihanna's best friend, Melissa Forde, doesn't seem to think the song is all that.

In fact, Melissa Forde went on Instagram and posted up a picture of herself with Rihanna and another friend with the caption "#BodyParty (bathroom acapella version) #London". If you missed out on that Instagram pic then check it out below:

The picture looks like the girls are laughing at Ciara's bathroom version of "Body Party" and if you haven't checked out that version of the song you can check it out as well as Ciara's response to all of this when you LOOK below:

Lamar Odom’s BabyMama/Ex-Girlfriend Writes Lengthy Letter About Being Abandoned for Khloe Kardashian

Liza Morales, the ex-girlfriend/baby mama of NBA Baller Lamar Odom, has been very vocal about what went wrong in her relationship to the LA Clippers, who is now married to Khloe Kardashian. As a reality star of the now canceled ‘Starter Wives‘, the mother of two had a platform to give her version of what happened in the couples relationship, which resulted in him leaving her for the Kardashian sister. This week, Lamar was spotted heading to court, to resolve a long-running custody battle of their two children (Destiny 14 and Lamar Jr. 11). And while Lamar has remained mum (side bar: he actually fell asleep during their court hearing, but that’s neither here, nor there) for the most part, Liza continues to speak on their ended relationship. Recently, she penned a very lengthy letter, spilling the tea on why Lamar refused to marry her and ultimately left her after their third child died. Check it out below. 

I don’t think I’ll forget the tight knot I felt in the pit of my stomach the morning I received the text message with three simple words on the screen. It read “I’m getting married” and it was from the man I’d spent more than 10 years of my life with. Years that included us getting engaged in 2000 and becoming parents to one daughter and two sons. Yet not long after our separation Lamar Odom was getting married to Khloe Kardashian, a woman he’d met four weeks before. How could the man who’d constantly given me reason after reason for why we couldn’t get married just yet now be ready to tie the knot so quickly? There aren’t words to explain how I felt that day.

I met Lamar in the 9th grade in Queens, New York, and was completely taken in by his wit, charm, and that devastating smile he so easily flashed at anyone he met. We dated from the 11th grade on and shared a tight bond due to a lot of things, including the fact that we both were products of broken homes.

Though my parents weren’t together, I did have a very close relationship with my father, whom I loved dearly and consider my hero. He worked very hard to make sure I could attend Catholic school and have everything I needed. But when I started dating Lamar that all changed. My father is Puerto Rican and he didn’t approve of me dating a black man. His small mind and small thinking ended the relationship with my dad. I wanted a life with Lamar and needed my family to support that. The next 10 years would be an amazing journey filled with many ups and down but Lamar and I were creating the family we’d both always dreamed of. Or so I thought.

We talked about marriage a lot during those days but Lamar would always tell me that NBA marriages never lasted. He’d point to Shaquille O’Neal’s marriage ending or Dwayne Wade’s marriage ending as examples of why we should wait until he retired to tie the knot. He told me he wanted to leave the game early and then the timing would be perfect for us. I listened to the many reasons why we weren’t married yet and believed them, knowing deep inside something wasn’t right. And then I slowly morphed into the girl I promised myself I’d never become, the girl who stayed long after she knew she shouldn’t. Truth is, I wanted that fairy tale so badly that I couldn’t bear to walk away from that life or take my children away from the comfort and security of a two-parent home.

I struggled to deal with all the groupies around him and with whatever else that was going on and just stayed put. My denial came to an abrupt end in 2006 after the death of Jayden. Lamar and I never really talked about our loss, which I know wasn’t healthy and also meant our relationship would never last. It couldn’t. I found out soon after that he’d had a long-term relationship with another woman—a relationship he said he’d end but he didn’t—and that was that.

We kept things cordial for the children’s sake after the breakup, but that changed when he married Khloe. Now we only communicate through third parties and lawyers, which I regret deeply since it is exactly what we each experienced as children and said we wouldn’t do to our kids. I’ve only met Khloe once, at my request since she is my children’s stepmother and I felt it was important to get a sense of her and what she’s like around my children. It was a very pleasant meeting, she gave me a hug so I’m happy it happened. Though some frown upon my decision to do a reality show, I agreed to be a part of “Starter Wives” so I could tell my own story of how things unfolded after Lamar married Khloe. We weren’t really together so I didn’t fall apart as many have suggested. I’ve have to deal with a lot of tabloid lies as the result of all the attention Lamar gets since he’s married to someone so famous.

To be honest I’m really doing the show for my daughter to prove to her that you can get up and move on after things fall apart. I did it to show her how you make mistakes and fix them and that you can never give up on yourself. She needed to see that and hear it from me. I think I also hope my father sees it as well. The only time I’ve seen my dad in recent years was at the funeral for my son. That was the first time Lamar had ever met him or that the kids had a chance to meet him. I’d really love for my kids to have their grandparents in their lives. They’ve met Lamar’s father (his mother passed away before we met) and are very close to my mother. I’d like to see that change and see them have relationships with both of their grandfathers.

As I continue to move on with my life, it can be difficult to avoid hearing about the Kardashians day in and day out. But I do what I can to ignore the constant chatter and I try to keep it from the kids as well so they can have a life that is as normal as possible. I am hopeful that one day I will have a cordial relationship again with Lamar, but until then I have to think of myself and the future I’d like to have given that I’m still in my early 30’s.

I know Lamar wasn’t that happy with the show but it’s helping me move on with my life by getting my truth out there and that’s what’s important. I’m taking college courses now to help with my dream of creating a skin care line in the future. I spent a great deal of my young life focused only on Lamar and his world. That’s all over now. I’m looking forward to meeting someone new and finding a love again and finally walking down the aisle. I’m hopeful that I’ll find someone willing to be a role model and a father figure for my children. They deserve that. Today it’s about me and the kids and moving forward. No anger or regrets. Just lessons learned and good days ahead.

Recent reports stated that Karrine "Superhead" Steffans mentioned something about Boris Kodjoe in her newest book. And as nice as that may sound, Boris Kodjoe is denying that he even met her.

Beyonce seems to be having fun with her new Pepsi ads.  From her face becoming yellow blonde pop art to her new bleached blonde bombshell look, she's  showing off her creative influence as the brand's newest spokeswoman.

She's Pin-Up Bey for her newest Pepsi ad.  The curvy superstar is donning bleached blonde locks, hot pants and red lips in her newest ad for the beverage company.  And it seems it will be used to promote her upcoming world tour, The Mrs. Carter Show.

And if you're wondering just how much longer she'll be shaking it hard on stage to rake in those millions, Bey recently told the Express in the UK that she doubts it'll be long.  And probably not once she crosses that 50-year-old mark.

“I’m not sure if I’ll be shaking it when I’m their age,” Beyonce told the Express in reference to Madonna and Cher who are both still touring in their 50s and 60s.

 “I don’t think I’ll be able to keep up with them. It will probably be all Ave Maria stuff when I get to that point,” Beyonce added.

Rapper DMX Goes Head-to-Head With Iyanla Vanzant In ‘Fix My Life’ + Sheree Whitfield & Husband To Appear

OWN is kicking off season ‘Iyanla:Fix My Life.’ with a bang. Controversial rapper DMX (born Earl Simmons) and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield will appear on the show. 

In the season opener, (premiering April 13) Iyanla Vanzant heads to Yonkers, New York, to work with DMX on his issues and things quickly go down hill resulting in DMX losing his temper. X is no stranger to reality TV therapy, as he’s appeared on ‘Couples Therapy’, with his ex-wife, Tasherra Simmons.

OJ Simpson Attacked by Skinheads 

OJ Simpson has been attacked by a skinhead gang at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada...

IN a bombshell world exclusive, The ENQUIRER can reveal that O.J. SIMPSON was viciously attacked in prison by two crazed, knife-wielding skinheads who were looking to earn bragging rights for taking down The Juice!

“They want me dead,” a shaken O.J. told a pal. “And they almost got me!”

The attack came on Feb. 16 during visiting day at Nevada’s Lovelock Correctional Center, where O.J. has been locked up since 2008.

The disgraced football great was relaxing in the prison yard, chatting with pals including a band of doting homosexuals who call themselves “The Girls.” As The ENQUIRER previously reported, they provide him with protection – and back massages.

SUDDENLY, the calm atmosphere was broken by yelling and screaming as about 50 “white power” inmates staged a riot to divert the guards’ attention while a pair of hit men charged O.J. with their makeshift, but deadly, weapons

“The guards sounded the sirens from the prison towers and rushed in with tear gas guns and other firepower,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “At first, O.J. was watching all this from a distance and didn’t even notice that two inmates were approaching him.

“Then, one of ‘The Girls’ spotted a flash of metal. It was sunlight reflecting from the blade of a knife wielded by a skinhead rushing at O.J.”

The source added: “At the same time, another one of ‘The Girls’ saw an attacker coming from the other side.

“The two skinheads charged toward O.J. They lunged at him and slashed at his face, coming close to cutting him. Luckily, they were blocked by his girly-man buddies. They may act like chicks but, believe me, they’re darn tough.”

Given the chance to escape, a terrified, O.J. ran for the safety of his cell, ducking and weaving through the brawling inmates.

“I don’t want to die,” O.J. cried as, fighting for his life, he dodged his enemies.

The cowardly football star later told a pal: “They came so close I could feel the wind as they swung their knives at my face and neck. I was thrashing my arms and trying to protect my face as I pushed and shoved to get away. Those knives would have ripped me up good.”

Simpson, who’s serving up to a 33-year sentence at the institution, had been complaining to authorities about his safety. But there’s only so much they can do since he insists on being in the general prison population, which means he spends time in the yard with rapists, sexual offenders and murderers.

“O.J. is taking a big risk because he doesn’t want to be in his cell for hours at a time and isolated from everyone else,” explained the insider. “Almost every day he sits around in the yard and holds court. ‘The Girls’ and other starstruck pals call him ‘The Godfather,’ and they are willing to protect him with their lives.”

Authorities say little can be done to safeguard their celebrity prisoner unless he agrees to leave the general prison population and enter the more protective, but lonelier, “administrative security” area.

“The skinheads want to kill him so they can have bragging rights,” said the insider. “They want the badge of honor as the guys who got O.J. Simpson!”

Simpson, 65, has apparently built up a lot of resentment among his fellow prisoners, in part because he gets special treatment.

“Some inmates are furious at how O.J. has been pampered,” revealed the insider. “He has a big screen TV in his cell and even hosted a Super Bowl party. His girlie buddies give him massages and he buys special food from the prison store that most of the other inmates can’t afford.

“He’s a celebrity, but he’s not supposed to be treated like one. Yet he is and it adds up to some of the in-mates resenting the hell out of him.”

But it may all become a moot point soon. In May, O.J. is scheduled for a hearing to decide if he should get a new trial due to alleged lawyer misrepresentation at his 2008 trial on charges that stemmed from an armed robbery in a Las Vegas hotel room to recover memorabilia.

“O.J. was badly shaken by the attack,” said our prison source. “He was so scared afterward, he was actually crying. He told me, ‘I’m so close to having a chance to get out of prison, and I might not make it. Somebody doesn’t want me walking the streets again. I’ll be lucky if I get out alive.’ ”

Kevin Hart Covers UPTOWN Magazine!!

PhillyActor and comedian Kevin Hart as he covers the new issue of UPTOWN Magazine which will hit newsstands this month. With a hit television show, a handful of movies in the works and record-breaking tours, Kevin Hart reigns supreme in the field of funnymen. But it’s his story of heartbreak, hard work and survival that makes him larger than life.

On a chilly January night in downtown Los Angeles, just a few feet away from where Kobe Bryant rules the hardwood, comedian/actor (and die-hard Lakers fan) Kevin Hart is holding court outside the L.A. Live theater, smiling broadly and having the time of his life. Tonight is the premiere screening of Hart’s hilarious new BET television series, The Real Husbands of Hollywood in which he stars and for which he writes and produces. If the audience’s response is any indication, Hart has yet another hit on his hands.

Dressed casually in dark jeans, a plaid button-down and a leather vest, the comic appears genuinely moved by the countless kudos, hugs, back slaps and pounds offered by well-wishers including fellow castmates Boris Kodjoe and Duane Martin. Billed as the “fakest reality show ever,” the weekly show is meant to be a mockery of the reality genre, particularly those depicting the over-the-top antics of women married to (or dating or divorced from) rich or powerful men.

“I get that some women don’t know what to do after living in their man’s shadow for so long, particularly if he was famous,” Hart says in between greetings. “I get how they can be talked into doing things that will bring them money and fame. That’s what makes it so sad to watch some of those shows. I can’t believe those women want to be shown in that way!’’ Hart, who appeared on BET’s classic ’90s laugh parade Comic View—which launched the careers of stars such as D.L. Hughley and Cedric The Entertainer—considers Real Husbands less a parody of the Bravo franchise, and more Curb Your Enthusiasm—the 12-years-and-running HBO series by Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, who stars as a fictionalized version of himself.

In other words, the smart money is on Hart.

Over the past few years, the multi-hyphenated funnyman has steadily built a sizeable Hollywood empire, utilizing his intuitive ability to fuse hotbutton, newsworthy moments with side-splitting comedy. Last year, Hart had a starring role in 2012’s breakout film Think Like a Man, which grossed more than $33 million in its opening weekend. He’s also on the, ahem, short list to host awards shows such as the VMAs and the BET Awards.

Yet despite box-office success, sold-out comedy shows, and tonight’s clear win, Hart remains humble and pragmatic. He credits his success to the old saying of preparation meeting opportunity. As a young comic, Hart dedicated countless hours studying tape after tape of stand-up icons including Redd Foxx, Bill Cosby, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence.

It’s no coincidence each is a legend in his own time, blessed with his own unique brand of humor and each having dominated the entertainment landscape at some point in his career, be it in film, television or on record. “The only way to show respect [for] what you do is [to] study the people who came before you,’’ Hart says. “You can’t be serious in this business without doing the work.”

So... Lil' Wayne is not hot anymore! Cancel His European Tour 

The real reason Lil' Wayne cancels his European tour because of low ticket sells......

From Hiphopmorning, "Rapper Lil Wayne has axed his upcoming European tour just days before his first show. 

The Lollipop hit-maker was due to kick off the dates in Dublin, Ireland on Friday, but he has now scrapped the trek over scheduling difficulties. 

However, Lil Wayne has promised fans the concerts will be rescheduled for the autumn. 

He says in a statement, "I am rescheduling to my European tour in order to release my album, I Am Not A Human Being II, worldwide on March 26. I didn't want my tour or album to be rushed, so despite my best hopes, I have made the decision to push back the tour to October 2013." 

"I cannot thank my European fans enough for their patience and look forward to performing in the fall... I never do anything halfway, and I promise to bring what will be an incredible live show experience."

Emails Show Link Between AEG and Conrad Murray 

Katherine Jackson's wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoter AEG just got a big boost...

Newly uncovered emails between AEG Live promoters, in the weeks leading up to Michael Jackson's 'This is It' tour, show the promoters becoming increasingly worried about Michael Jackson missing rehearsals and contacting Dr. Conrad Murray to get Michael straightened out.

Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 4 years in jail for administering a fatal dose of propofol to Micheal Jackson in June 2009. 

Jackson lawyer Kevin Boyle said on Sunday,

"The truth about what happened to Michael, which AEG has tried to keep hidden from the public since the day Michael died, is finally emerging. We look forward to the trial where the rest of the story will come to light."

Erika Alexander Co-Writes Graphic with Black Heroine

Best known for her memorable role as Maxine Shaw on the sitcom “Living Single” Erika Alexander’s latest endeavor isn’t a TV or film role, but instead a graphic novel series. Developed with her screenwriter husband, Tony Puryear, and her brother Robert Alexander, Concrete Park is set in the a dangerous near-future where gangs threaten to destroy humanity. The main characters are women of color: Luca, a gang leader, and Lena, her lesbian lover. The novels feature a multicultural cast of characters struggling to survive in an increasingly depraved world.

Alexander and her husband recently appeared at San Diego Comic-Con, the popular gaming and pop culture conference, to promote Concrete Park. The pair also recently appeared on the comedy podcast Straight Riffin’.

Alexander is just one Hollywood actress of color to venture in the comic book world. Rosario Dawson developed a four-issue series called O.C.T.: Occult Crimes Task Force, which is currently being developed for television. Rashida Jones developed her own graphic novel series called Frenemy of the State in 2009, which was optioned for the big screen by Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment.

San Diego Magazine Publishes Racially Offensive Cover

Rarely do magazine and website writers have much control over the art that accompanies their articles. But usually, the relationship between writer and editor or art director is such that an inherent trust of the latter’s final decision is warranted. A good editor ensures that the image and headline serve the copy.
If Elizabeth Salaam, writer for the San Diego Reader, had such trust when she penned the most recent issue’s cover story, it was misplaced. The editorial staff for the local periodical took her article about finding social and educational spaces near her community, where her children would be able to see people of color, and inexplicably titled it, “Afro Puffs.” They chose to run a photograph of a toddler pulling her natural hair.

But most jarringly, they chose to run the following copy along with that image and headline:

The white girls like

the black guys,

and the Mexican girls

like the black guys,

and the Filipino girls

like the black guys,

and the black guys

like them, too.

But no one likes the black girls.

Huh? Though the article does open with the author referencing her daughter’s natural hair and her worry that someday soon her daughter may begin to wish her hair looked more like the straight, blonde hair of other women in her community, the article isn’t about hair at all. It’s about cultural identity, assimilation, and reinforcing positive self-image. Titling the essay “Afro Puffs” deliberately obscures those themes.

But the weak article title isn’t the real head scratcher here. The pull quote that accompanies the picture of a cherubic little black girl on the cover is the stranger choice. The quote is presented without context: It’s an observation the writer’s son makes about what he perceives to be the social dynamics at the middle school he attends. On the deceptive cover, it appears that the article will be about why “no one” (In San Diego? In America? In the world?!) likes black girls — and how their disdain is linked to their hair.

The image and article were posted online on July 11, and commenters have been similarly confused and offended by the cover copy. Others have taken issue with the content of the article itself; though it is quite long, it’s more diaristic than journalistic, and for the issues the author wants to engage, she’d need more than her children’s and friends’ opinions and experiences to speak to issues of cultural or racial stratification in San Diego. Though the editor absolutely chose the wrong quote to publish on the cover, Salaam did offer it, as one of a few anecdotes about her son’s experiences with finding a barber, fitting in at school, and worrying about becoming “bourgie.”

If she’d known it would be used next to a picture of a little black girl tugging her hair straighter, it’s a safe bet she would’ve edited it out. Here’s The article if you care to read

Caught on camera: Seven Year Old Autistic girl saved from falling off an air-conditioning Unit outside her HOME!

A seven-year-old Brooklyn girl is safe thanks to a fast-acting neighbor who came to her rescue.
Keyla McCree crawled out of her window and was dancing and singing on top of an air conditioner before she tripped and fell from the ledge of the Coney Island Houses building.

MTA bus driver Steve St Bernard, 52, was waiting below with his arms outstretched and managed to catch the girl and save her life.

Safe: A seven-year-old Brooklyn girl is safe thanks to the fast-acting neighbor who came to her rescue
'I just prayed that I’d catch her,' said St Bernard to the New York Daily News. I was right underneath her.'
Witnesses told police that the autistic girl had pushed aside the accordion closure that held the air conditioning unit in her apartment.

She crawled out through the empty space around 2pm, astonishing onlookers with a song and dance routine three-stories high.

In a video of the daredevil girl, you can see her standing on one leg and moving about on the ledge with dozens of people gathered below her.
St Bernard, who just got off work, heard cries of concern and rushed to the scene.
'There were all these kids yelling,"the little girl, the little girl,"' said St Bernard.
'I saw a little girl standing on the air conditioner. I said, "Let me get over to her in time. and I made it just in time."'
In the minute long video, St Bernard positions himself under the girl, trying to find the right spot in case she fell.

'I went over there to make sure if she fell I could catch her,' St Bernard said. 'I’m not a hero — anybody would have done it. I did it out of normal instincts.'
The father of four said that one of his own children is about her age.
'I ran inside and called 911, but by the time I hung up she had fell,' said neighbor Latasha Marcus to CBS.

'She’s fine,' said the girl’s mother, Saleema McCree, to the New York Post. 'Not a scratch on her. The man caught her, thank God. It’s a miracle.'

Both were taken to Coney Island Hospital, where St Bernard was treated for a torn tendon in his left bicep.
Both the NYPD and the Housing Department investigated the issue to make sure the girl is being properly cared for.
New York City requires all apartments with young children to have a window guard installed, except when there is an air conditioning unit securely placed in the window.
The barriers must not leave an opening greater than 41/2 inches in homes with children under 10.
Mrs McCree said that she had just bought the air conditioner and installed it on Sunday. She had put Keyla down for a nap and was watching her other child when the incident happened.
'I heard somebody banging on the door, stating that my daughter was outside on the air conditioner, but I had no idea what was going on because I had my son,' she told CBS.

She said the air conditioner's accordion panels were supposed to be secure, but the machine she purchased was damaged and dangerous.

'They sold me a defective air conditioner,' the mother said. She removed the device after the incident. Authorities said that no charges will be pressed against Mrs McCree.

Once cops arrived to the scene, Dez's mom Angela told cops she had gotten into an argument with Dez and demanded that he leave the home ... and that's when Dez got physical.
On the 911 call, Angela says, "My son has assaulted me. He's here now. he won't go home. I keep telling him to go, he won't go." You can clearly hear an argument in the background as Angela says, "I can't let him keep doing me like this. I'm gonna put an end to it today.

Woman Says Zimmerman was a ‘Proud Racist’; Molested Her

A woman with close ties to George Zimmerman and his family told investigators that members of Zimmerman’s family were boastfully proud racists and that for more than a decade Zimmerman sexually molested her, reports the Huffington Post.

“It started when I was six,” the woman told investigators during an interview on the morning of March 20. “We’d all lay in front of the TV and we had pillows and blankets and he would reach under the blankets and try to do things and I would try to push him off but he was bigger and stronger and older,” the woman said, audibly weeping in the Florida State Attorney’s Office interview recording released Monday. “It was in front of everybody and I don’t know how I didn’t say anything, I just didn’t know any better.”

The woman, identified in various reports and in taped interviews with investigators as witness 9, said that from the age of six to 19 Zimmerman repeatedly fondled her, at times penetrating her vagina with his finger.

The woman told investigators that she was coming forward when she did because she thought that Zimmerman might have shot and killed Trayvon Martin because he was black, and that she finally felt safe enough to make a report when Zimmerman had gone into hiding after the shooting.
“This is the first time in my life that I’m not afraid of him,” the woman said. “[H]e can’t get to me. If I saw him on the street or saw him anywhere it would just make me break down in tears, but now with everything going on I know that he’s not going to be out in public. I won’t go to Target and see him anymore. I’m not afraid of him anymore.”
The molestation continued for years during visits between the families, she said. The Zimmermans lived in Virginia and moved down to Florida — where the woman lived with her family — not long after George Zimmerman graduated from high school. The last incident occurred in Lake Mary, Fla., where Zimmerman had moved into a house owned by his family ahead of their arrival from Virginia.

“It’s not just me that he did these things to,” she said. The witness said that she talked to another woman who she claims was also molested by Zimmerman, but would not come forward.

The woman’s statements are part of the latest trove of evidence released by the State Attorney’s Office, which is handling Zimmerman’s second-degree murder case. Zimmerman is charged with Martin’s February 26 killing in Sanford, Fla. Other evidence released Monday includes nearly 150 jailhouse calls made to and from George Zimmerman.
Zimmerman’s defense attorney, Mark O’Mara, has argued that witness 9’s statements should not be released and that because her testimony would not be introduced at trial, it was irrelevant. Some of the racial implications made by the witness, he said, could likely cause “widespread hostile publicity.”

But Seminole County Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. issued an order in late June outlining which records prosecutors must release, and named witness 9’s statements.
Witness 9 first made an anonymous call to law enforcement and shortly thereafter met with investigators with the State Attorney’s Office. The revelations of alleged sexual molestation were buttressed by the woman’s belief that Martin’s race may have played a role in his killing by Zimmerman.
“I was afraid that he may have done something because the kid was black,” the witness told investigators. “Because growing up they’ve always made, him and his family have always made statements that they don’t like black people if they don’t act like white people. They like black people if they act white and other than that, they talk a lot of bad things about black people.”

The woman said that Zimmerman’s Peruvian mother was among the more boastfully racist of the clan.
“His mother protested it very loud,” the woman said. During one incident, the woman said that Zimmerman’s mother had come to the witness’s workplace, and during a discussion about President Obama, made it clear how she felt about him and his ethnicity.

“I don’t like Obama,” the woman claimed Zimmerman’s mother stated. “She said, ‘because he is black and I am a racist.’”
“I have a black girl that works right behind me and I’m like, what, are you just, let’s go, and I kind of just swept her in the back,” the woman recalled. “I can’t believe that she stood there so loud and proud and said that she was a racist.”
The woman’s interview is the second testimony in the past week in which people familiar with Zimmerman’s family have intimated that the group harbored negative racial views.

Last week, in another release of evidence which included dozens of interviews conducted by the FBI during its investigation into whether or not racial bias might have played a role in Martin’s killing, an ex-fiancé of Geroge Zimmerman’s said that Zimmerman’s mother resented her because she wasn’t white.
The woman, who described herself as being of Puerto Rican and Argentinean descent, said that Zimmerman’s mother would talk openly about her racial views.
Zimmerman’s mother would often talk about “marrying into white families in order to improve one’s status,” she said.
Witness 9 said that her family and the Zimmermans were close and that they would take family trips together and would visit each other’s home at least once a year.
On one occasion, when she was about 12 years old and Zimmmerman a few years older, she said that Zimmerman made her look at and rub on his penis not long after he’d had some sort of surgery on it.
Other times she said that he would take her behind the window curtains in the living room and kiss and fondle her.

Before each encounter he would give her a look, she said.
“Every time that we would go up there I could just look at him and he would give me a certain look and I would know if it was going to happen,” the woman told investigators. “He just got this look in his eye …”
After each encounter the woman said that Zimmerman would tell her not to tell anyone, to say that the two were just playing or laying down if anyone got suspicious or asked.
“I was a kid, I didn’t know any better,” the woman said. The last encounter happened when the woman was 19, she said. By then Zimmerman had moved to Florida, not long before his parents followed. That time, Zimmerman demanded that she lay down on the bed to receive a massage. Fearful, she said she did, but when he bent close to kiss the side of her face, his erect penis pressed up against her. At that moment she decided to run, she said. Zimmerman chased her to the front door.

“I was scared of what else was going to happen,” she said.
“With him, he like, he was a different person to me. He was very intimidating and the fact that he made everyone love him and made everyone laugh and be so happy around him, I knew if I said anything he would just deny it,” she said.

Meanwhile, George Zimmerman remains out of the public eye and in a safehouse after his release from the Seminole County Jail on July 6 on $1 million bond.

It seems Drake is enjoying the fruits of being Successful.
For the hitmaker has just splashed out a whopping $7.7m on a luxurious mansion in Los Angeles.
And it seems he is intent on living somewhere with plenty of privacy, as the property sits in the Hidden Hills locale.

Drake also seems to have managed to pull of a canny piece of business, taking advantage of the current malaise in the property markets.
For while $7.7m is nothing to be sniffed at, the sprawling property was initially on the market for an eye-watering $27million in 2009.

And the facilities at his new abode certainly offer the potential for epic parties to rival any those of any of his hip-hop forbears.
For as well as the fake lagoons and gigantic waterslide, it also boasts a hidden cave, stables, equestrian ring, and sand volleyball court.
The fact it also has a tennis court is a particular boon, as the singer dated Wimbledon champion for three years, so will surely be a dab hand at a spot of mixed doubles.

Did Wet Seal Fire Employees Because They Were Black?

How does Wet Seal Inc. plan to strengthen its brand image? Boston.com reports some former employees believe it’s doing so by ridding itself of its African American employees in management. Three former employees of Wet Seal are filing a federal racial discrimination lawsuit against the clothing store, claiming they were fired because they didn’t fit Wet Seal’s “brand image.”
The three plaintiffs, Nicole Cogdell, Kai Hawkins and Myriam Saint-Hilaire all reside in Delaware County, PA. While Cogdell and Hawkins held store manager positions, Saint-Hilaire was an assistant store manager.

The three claim they were fired for bogus reasons with the clear basic underlying message that it was because they were black.
‘‘They perceived that they would reach white markets better if they had more white managers,’’ Brad Seligman, an attorney representing the plaintiffs, said in an interview. ‘‘You have explicit directions from the very top of the company to terminate African-American managers.’’
The three assert that Wet Seal Inc. began the discriminatory practices against African American employees in both Wet Seal and Arden B in 2008. The say that the top executives were directly responsible for targeting African American employees for termination as well as denying them pay and promotion.

The plaintiffs hope to be rehired and paid for pay lost, benefits, compensatory and punitive damages. In response to the allegations, Wet Seal maintains that it is a model of diversity and is prepared to defend its image.
