Eddie Griffin SUED For Battery, ALLEGEDLY Calls Two Fans "Dyke B*tches"!

Two female fans are suing Eddie Griffin and Tommy T's Comedy Club in Pleasanton, CA for civil rights violations, battery and negligence.  In a recently filed lawsuit, TMZ reports that Leslie Champlin claims Eddie targeted her and girlfriend during a homophobic comedy routine and doused them with a water bottle (see video).

Leslie claims Tommy T's let Eddie hit the stage drunk and he launched into a homophobic routine, thrusting his crotch in their faces, and saying things like they "would not need a strap-on or vibrator" with his help. SMH. Eww.....

Following this, Leslie's GF threw her drink at Eddie which resulted in him dousing them with his water bottle. In the lawsuit, Leslie says the crowd turned on her and her girlfriend...pelting them with drinks.

TMZ later reported that Eddie Griffin defended himself on Facebook, calling the women "dyke bitches" and that seemed to set Eddie and his LEGAL team on a rampage.  Eddie in turn threatened to sue TMZ for insinuating that he was a homophobe.

Ann Flagella, the president of Eddie Griffin's production company, told The Huffington Post,

Eddie never assaulted a woman, nor is he homophobic. Your statements are false. He was telling a joke. He was doing his job and making the audience laugh and doing a great job at it. Eddie has never and will never sensor his act. ALL races, religions, genders and stereotypes are considered EQUAL on stage and are all open for material. Eddie's famous quote is "F*ck -em if they can't take a joke. They shouldn't come to a comedy show". 

If you sit front row at a comedy show, it is widely known that chances are, you might have a good chance of becoming part of the act.

He (Eddie) is, however, still upset that TMZ is calling him homophobic when (in his opinion) he said the word 'dyke' as slang, not derogatory. Well truth be told Lesbians do have an event during Gay Pride called "DYKE MARCH" So?????????

So just to keep things "straight"......a fan is suing Eddie and the comedy club for civil rights violations. And for now.....Eddie is NOT suing TMZ for calling him a homophobe; but, he's still mad at them. Got all of that?

Arrest made in pizzeria attack on drag performer

According to The Washington Blade: D.C. police announced Tuesday night that they have arrested one of two female suspects wanted for the June 23 assault against a gay male drag performer inside a pizzeria on 14th Street, N.W. that was captured on video and created an uproar in the LGBT community.

In a statement released shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday, police said 28-year-old Raymone Harding of Gaithersburg, Md., was arrested earlier that day and charged with simple assault in connection with the attack against Miles Denaro, 24.

Denaro told police and the Blade that the two women dragged him by his hair across the floor at Manny & Olga’s pizza carry out restaurant at 1841 14th St., N.W., while they punched and kicked him in the face and body. He said the assault began after the women made fun of his makeup and one of them touched his face and the other slapped him.

He said he was dressed as a woman when he entered the restaurant shortly after finishing a drag performance at the nearby Black Cat nightclub.

A video taken of the incident, which was posted on at least three websites, including briefly on YouTube, shows bystanders laughing and cheering while employees of the restaurant look on without trying to stop the altercation.

Denaro said the women called him a “tranny” and “faggot.”

The second of the two women implicated in the assault filed a police report on the night of the incident accusing Denaro of assaulting her by biting her on her thigh. Denaro said he bit the woman in self-defense as she was pulling out his hair and the other woman held him down on the floor.

“At that time, with my face on the ground in her legs, the only thing to help get out of it was to bite her,” Denaro told the Blade.

The police report filed by the second woman identifies her as Rachel Manna Sahle, 22, also of Gaithersburg.

The police statement announcing the arrest says the case remains under investigation.

This is NOT a win for the LGBTQ Community what is being failed to mention in this entire article is that it was NOT a homophobic attack. There were gay and racial SLURS from both ends. And the fight did not occur until Denaro spat in the face of one of the women then they attacked in retaliation! After the fight it was said according to the Ladies that Denaro told them NOW YOU HAVE AIDS! And Denaro did admit he’s HIV positive.

So in truth this was nothing more than a drunken brawl gone out of control and now if anything with the transmission of blood from Denaro to the ladies YES! They’re now in danger of contracting the HIV virus NOT CUTE! Either all parties should be arrested, or they all should NOT be charged and SHAME on D.C Gay activists making this out to be something it wasn’t. Also shame on The Washington Blade for in their original story they sure didn’t moderate the comments whereas many gay people were screaming NIGGER all through the comment section.
