Beyonce, who has been known to strategically drop new projects at the same time as other artists, leaked news yesterday that she would be the halftime performer for Superbowl XLVIII on February 3, 2013.
Meanwhile Brandy, who's new cd Two Eleven leaked days before it's release, struggled to be heard over the buzz about Beyonce's latest project. However, I got it and ME LIKEY!
There was no shortage of Divas last weekend in Los Angeles, as Sheryl Lee Ralph presented her annual event, Divas Simply Singing! Now in it’s 21st year, the event was held Saturday at the Wilshire Ebell Theater.
The Divas on the bill included, Jennifer Holliday, Kelly Price, Loretta Devine, Faith Evans, Raven Symone, LaShun Pace, Amber Riley, Jenifer Lewis, Shanice, Frenchie Davis, Niecy Nash, Bonnie Pointer, Yo Yo, and others. Divas Simply Singing! is a fundraiser to benefit The Diva Foundation, started by Sheryl Lee Ralph, to bring global awareness about HIV/AIDS.

The benefit not only raises money — but pays homage to several indivuals that have lost their lives to AIDS. The evening also honored Vesta and included a tribute to the late Teena Marie.
