Did Monica and Brandy really FIGHT each other back in the 90’s?

The one and only time Monica and Brandy performed their hit single The Boy Is Mine together was in 1998 at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Back then there were rumors that Brandy and Monica had gotten into a fist fight during rehearsals, but the rumor was hotly denied at the time by both their camps.

Turns out it really did happen. Monica spilled the tea on Hot 97 with Angie Martinez.
