MISS TINA: SHE’S STILL SIMPLY THE BEST!

TINA TURNER on the cover of German Vogue!
Tina Turner becomes the oldest beauty on the cover ever.
The queen of rock 'n' roll, Tina Turner, proved she’s still got it, becoming the oldest person to cover Vogue Magazine.
The legendary diva appears on her first Vogue cover for the April 2013 issue of German Vogue. Shot by photography duo Claudia Knoepfel & Stefan Indlekofer and styled by Nicola Knels, the gorgeous, Turner stuns in a modern silk blue gown by Armani, red pout and her signature honey blonde-hair. Even though her famous legs don't make an appearance, the cover says it all: "Simply The Best!"

Oh, and did I mention she is 73? The “Private Dancer” singer snatched the title for the eldest person to cover the fashion magazine from Meryl Streep who covered American Vogue last year at the age of 62.

Turner recently renounced her U.S. citizenship to become Swiss after residing in Kuesnacht, Zurich since the mid-‘90s. The diva recently told the local Swiss newspaper Blick that she’s “very happy in Switzerland and I feel at home here. I cannot imagine a better place to live. Tina is currently in the studio recording a new studio album, “Beyond 2.”

We ALL hope to look half this good at 73!

Brooklyn Carter and Chicago Obama RAISE 4,000,000.00!

Beyonce & Jay-Z Raise $4 Million, Party With President Obama At 40/40 Club
Over at Jay's 40/40 Club in Manhattan, President Obama kicked it with The Carters--after his taping of "Letterman" and another fundraising dinner at the Waldorf Astoria.
The hip hop power couple helped raise $4 million for POTUS' Presidential campaign at the $40,000/ticket fundraising dinner.  And it was pretty obvious the mutual admiration Mr. President and The Carters have for each other.
Bey introduced POTUS saying, ”I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama.  We believe in his vision.”
And a snippet of the President's remarks where he joked about being a lot like Jay--they both have daughters and both of their wives are more popular than them:
Thank you. Thank you. (Applause.) Thank you. Well, it is wonderful to see all of you. I’m so grateful for all your support.
Let me just begin by saying to Jay and Bey, thank you so much for your friendship. We are so grateful. Michelle and Malia and Sasha are mad at me because they are not here. (Laughter.) That doesn’t usually happen. Usually they’re like, we’re glad you’re going — we don’t need to go. But every time they get a chance to see these two they are thrilled, partly because they are just both so generous, particularly to my kids. And Malia and Sasha just love both of them.

BeyoncĂ© couldn’t be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise — (applause) — and has so much talent. And Jay-Z now knows what my life is like. (Laughter.) We both have daughters, and our wives are more popular than we are. (Laughter and applause.) So we’ve got a little bond there. (Laughter.) It’s hard, but it’s okay. It’s okay. (Laughter.)

Sweet!.

The New Balenciaga Motorcycle Jacket

WORK IT OUT Balenciaga…OVAHNESS!

THIS JACKET IS FAB BOOTS! Like, Seriously!
Balenciaga definitely did their thing with this one! This Motorcycle Jacket has got to be one of their funkiest pieces yet!
Made with leather, of course, and featuring asymmetric zip front, with zip pockets, layered lapel and quilted detail at sleeve, it comes in a Royal Purple and Black…
The Black is cool, but it doesn't pop like the Purple… But overall, we love the quilted piece of the jacket, as it goes so well with bags such as Marc Jacobs, Chanel, and more!

Thoughts?
